All the major players in tech offer a Wi-Fi router and internet safety options. To succeed in such a highly competitive market requires more than just incredible tech, but passion—a unique edge Gryphon co-founders John Wu and Arup Bhattacharya had right from the start.
For the two co-founders, Gryphon was more than just a technical invention, it was personal and purpose driven. Their new invention was born out of their desire to protect their own families.
Driving their project was their vision for safeguarding the online experience in a way that made parents feel confident that their children were safe as they interacted with the online world.

Strategy
Venter PR named and launched the company’s second product–Gryphon Guardian–with new positioning, and a media and influencer outreach campaign.
The Guardian name captured the essence of the company’s mission to innovate easy to use and practical solutions that help safeguard the online experience. Venter PR positioned Gryphon Guardian as the newest, most affordable option available.
Then, leveraging the company’s social media platform and unique connection with parents, Venter PR spearheaded an influencer marketing campaign to showcase the easy-to-use build awareness of the new product.
Venter PR scouted influencers—moms—who gave Gryphon Guardian a try, showcased their experience, with the easy-to-use product, and shared their positive reviews on their platform for other moms to see.
By starting the influencer campaign alongside the product launch, Venter PR maximized the company’s momentum in both traditional and social media to effectively spread the word.
Results
The Gryphon Guardian has an average review of 4.5 out of 5 stars by happy parents and is clearly established by the tech media as a top-of-the-line option.
