She has also managed communications for groundbreaking scientific achievements, including the creation of the first synthetic bacterial genome.
Melanie has managed the announcement of the largest investment to date in clean energy R&D from ExxonMobil for Synthetic Genomics, Inc, and introduced the first plant-based wetsuit from Yulex and Patagonia.
She continues her career-long trend of contributing to technological, economical, and environmental change through strategic communication and marketing.
